VIDEOTON Elektro-PLAST has decades of experience in battery pack assembly. We started our operations in Kaposvár in 1997, and through continuous technological development and expanding market demands, we now serve our partners from dedicated, modern manufacturing bases in both Marcali and Kaposvár. Since 2018, we have been a member of the European Battery Alliance (EBA), actively contributing to the continent's energy ecosystem.

Our expertise ranges from single-cell solutions to complex battery packs containing up to 144 cells. We operate the most modern electromechanical systems on our production lines, covering the entire spectrum of market demands.

  • Li-ion (lithium-ion) - standard and high-performance solutions, including innovative tabless cell technologies
  • LFP (lithium iron phosphate) - long-life and high-safety factor energy storage solutions
  • Ni-MH (nickel-metal hydride) - cost-effective technology mainly for household applications

By design - we assemble cylindrical, prismatic, and button cells according to customer specifications.

Synergies within the VIDEOTON group enable us to provide end-to-end solutions in the field of battery technology. All critical elements of the manufacturing process are concentrated in one place, ensuring technological coherence and efficient project management from design to implementation.

  • In-house designed manufacturing equipment and production lines - everaging our engineering capabilities, we design and build custom manufacturing cells as well as conventional manual and fully automated assembly lines - optionally equipped with traceability systems and data collection as required
  • Manufacturing of plastic parts - precision injection molding of plastic housings and components for battery packs, including tool design and production
  • Electronic background - production of control electronics (PCBA) in cooperation with Videoton Electronic Assembly Services Ltd.
  • Industry 4.0 and technology - dedicated production areas according to customer-specific requirements, supported by intelligent database management and modernized production processes

Production environment and technological background

Our modernized production halls are designed to meet the highest industry standards. Our Li-ion manufacturing areas are equipped with ESD protection, automated humidity control, and centralized HVAC systems. Logistics processes are supported by air-conditioned warehouses and precise, custom barcode-based product tracking systems.
