Since then, there have been several ownership changes in the life of the factory, many challanges have crossed its path, but instead of discouraging us, these difficulties have only brought us forward. Nothing proves this more than that in the past 25 years the number of the employees at Videoton has nearly quadrupled, our equity has grown by 33 times, and our sales revenue by 67 times. With this growth, the Kaposvár plant has became one of the strongest pillars of the Videoton Holding – was said at the closing event.

To celebrate our half-century birthday, we organized a series of events throughout the week. We prepared a product, and photo exhibition, light painting on the factory building and open factory visitations for the public. We planted 50 trees on the area of the factory, placed a time capsule that will be opened in 2071 by the employees of the future, on the 100th anniversary. The jubilee week was crowned with a gala dinner and firework.
